A newspaper based in the centre of Folkestone for many decades is to move about 20 miles away.
Media company Trinity Mirror will relocate 22 staff from its Folkestone Herald office to the Discovery Park, a business park on the outskirts of Sandwich.
No jobs will be lost in the move but the West Cliff Gardens office will close and journalists for Kent Live, the Folkestone Herald, Dover Express and Isle of Thanet Gazette move to the new base.
Kent Live brands editor Luke Jacobs said: “The Kent Live team, which is also responsible for multiple print titles in the county will remain based close to the areas served by these newspapers.
“The Folkestone office will close and this new office will offer staff a much improved working environment.
“Jobs are unaffected and reporters will remain working within the communities served by the newspapers,” he told industry website Hold the Front Page.
The move to their new base in Ramsgate Road will take place on a date yet to be confirmed.
Discovery Park is on the former Pfizer research site in Sandwich.
