RNLI teams from Littlestone rescue two men in capsized dinghy

One man has been rushed to hospital after a dinghy overturned in high winds.

RNLI teams were at Littlestone beach for a training exercise when two men in the small vessel got into difficulties.

Their rescue took place on Sunday morning, around 11am.

Crews on from the Littlestone Lifeboat Station were able to get both men to shore. One man was given treatment on the beach before being taken to hospital.

Kent County councillor Bryan Sweetland, who captured this video, was full of praise for the emergency volunteers.

The dinghy was also taken to shore.
