It is understood a person has been taken to hospital after a two car crash near Capel-Le-Ferne this afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the incident on the B2011 New Dover Road, in Church Hougham, at 3.34pm today.

Police, KFRS and Secamb are at the scene, which is near the Old Dover Road junction.

Drivers have been warned to approach with caution due to heavy traffic.

A police spokesman said one person reported injuries and work is ongoing to recover one of the vehicles.
