Historic lamps that line a path which overlooks the Channel are not working due to a faulty cable.
The white Victorian cast iron lamps which are dotted along The Leas in Folkestone have not been working for more than a week.
Shepway District Council has commissioned contractor Amey to look at the damaged cable and are waiting for an update as to when power will be restored.
An SDC spokesman said: "Our contractors are working to rectify the fault and we hope to have the lights back on as quickly as possible."
