Person injured after crash at Channel Tunnel terminal in Folkestone

A person was injured after a car ploughed into a booth at the Channel Tunnel terminal.
The vehicle crashed into a kiosk at the roadside just after 11.30am on Friday morning in Folkestone.
Paramedics took a person to a local hospital.
A police spokesman said: “We were contacted at 11.34am on Friday following a report a car had collided with a roadside booth at the Eurotunnel terminal in Folkestone.
“Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and a person was taken to a local hospital.”
Eurotunnel has been contacted for comment.
