A person had to be cut from their car after they were involved in a crash with a lorry this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the Londonbound carriageway of the A20 at Folkestone just after 2pm.

Firefighters in two fire engines arrived at the scene near the Roundhill Tunnels and found the person trapped in the car.

They cut the person free and paramedics then took the patient on to hospital.

Traffic is now moving past the scene through the tunnel on the Londonbound carriageway.
