Police and ambulance service called to Folkestone bus station, in Bouverie Square

Police and paramedics descended on a bus station this afternoon.
It is understood four police vehicles attended the bus station in Bouverie Square, Folkestone at 3.20pm.
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance (SECAmb) service confirmed they were called to help someone in need of medical care.
The spokesman added: “SECAmb were called at approximately 3.20pm today to reports of a person in need of medical attention at the bus station in Folkestone.
“Crews assessed and treated one person at the scene before taking them to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford for further medical treatment.”
Police confirmed they attended to “assist with a medical incident”.
