Police arrest Folkestone car thief

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of stealing after a patrol found identified the vehicle.
Officers from the community policing team stopped the driver in Folkestone Harbour and arrested a 43-year-old man on Tuesday this week.
The vehicle was reported stolen from inside a commercial premises in Bouverie Road West on Thursday, February 15.
The suspect is also being investigated for the theft of a car registration plate, which was stolen in Dover Road between the end of November and early December last year.
He was also held on suspicion of possessing a class B drug, and was released from police custody, pending further investigation.
