Police search after store robbed in Cheriton, near Folkestone

Police are searching for two people after a robbery at a high street shop.
Cash and tobacco were stolen during the incident in Cheriton High Street this morning.
A man and a woman entered the shop just before 6.30am and demanded money from the till.
The pair, dressed in dark clothing, stole the money and a quantity of tobacco before fleeing in the direction of Marler Road.
Officers reached the scene shortly afterwards, and enquiries are ongoing.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to the incident, or anyone who has seen anything suspicious in the area, to come forward.
