Folkestone: Police investigation launched after sexual assault in Sandgate Road

Police are investigating a sexual assault in Folkestone town centre.
The scene of the attack, which reportedly took place in the Sandgate Road area just before 1am, was taped off by officers this morning.
Forensics officers were also seen in the town's war memorial garden.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 1.03am on Saturday 6 October following a report of a sexual assault in the Sandgate Road area of Folkestone.
"Officers are currently establishing the circumstances of the incident and are following a number of lines of enquiry."
