Man arrested on M20 slip road on suspicion of assaulting police officer

A man has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer on a slip road to the M20.
Officers were called to the London-bound slip road at Cheriton, outside Folkestone, to reports of a man walking along the motorway entry.
A number of police vehicles were spotted responding the incident.
The emergency services were called out to the scene at 12.55pm.
The man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of assaulting an officer.
