The main pool at a sports centre has has re-opened after a broken pump was fixed.

The Folkestone Sports Centre, in Radnor Park Avenue, announced this morning that the pool would be closed until "further notice".

A social media statement said: "Please be aware that the main pool is closed until further notice due to a broken pump.

"We aim to have this resolved as soon as possible."

Then, at around noon, the centre said: "The faulty part has now been replaced and the main pool will be re-opened within the next 30 minutes."
