A pub has dished up its "last Sunday roast service for a while" as its struggling restaurant has been forced to close.
Bosses at The Ship Inn, Sandgate, near Folkestone, say they have made the "difficult decision" to close the eatery "due to the current economic conditions".
A post was shared on its Facebook page yesterday – but the bar will still be operating as normal.
"We have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our restaurant from this Monday due to the current economic conditions," it said.
"We wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who has eaten with us over the last year, and we have to say we have had the best time serving you all.
"So come in and join us for our last Sunday roast service for a while.
"All future bookings will be contacted as soon as possible
"The bar will still operate as usual.
"But please don’t worry… you haven’t seen the last of us lot."
KentOnline contacted the pub and was told the restaurant "will be closing for a few weeks" and "it isn't a fixed closure".
