Train services have been delayed after a railway bridge was hit by a lorry this afternoon.
The bridge over Beachborough Road, near Folkestone West railway station in Cheriton, was struck at about 4pm.
Southeastern tweeted shortly afterwards: "Trains are still able to run over the bridge but may be delayed by up to 10 minutes.
"Response staff are on the way to check the bridge for damage and give the all clear for trains to run over at normal speed."
Since then, the travel firm posted an update at 4.31pm to say that the teams were on site.
Trains have since been given the all clear to travel across at normal speed.
