Road closed by police as firefighters rescue woman from car crash in Farthing Common, Lyminge

Police closed a country road this afternoon after a car crashed into a tree.
A woman was trapped inside the vehicle following the collision in Farthing Common, Lyminge, at 3.12pm this afternoon and officers closed the road while firefighters worked to free her using hydraulic rescue equipment.
Ambulance crews also attended.
Emergency services left the scene shortly after 4pm.
