Head-on crash in Canterbury Road, A260, in Hawkinge, near Folkestone, involving car and bus

Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash between a car and bus this afternoon.
Police shut the A260 Canterbury Road, in Hawkinge, following the smash around 1pm today.
Emergency crews, including police and paramedics, were called to the scene.
Officers tweeted a warning to motorists to drive carefully in today's wet conditions.
A police spokesman said: "We received a report of a collision involving two vehicles at 1.01pm.
"Officers and Secamb are attending the scene in Canterbury Road, Hawkinge. Two people have been taken to a local hospital."
The road was closed for the afternoon to allow the vehicles to be recovered.
It is not yet known how serious the casualties injuries are.
