A tailback of as much as half a mile was caused by a road accident on the M20 during rush hour.
Waiting traffic built up as debris had to be cleared after the crash.
It happened on the coastbound carriageway, between the Junction 11a Channel Tunnel and Junction 12 Cheriton turnoffs this morning.
Police were called to the accident, which involved two vehicles, at 6.30am.
One person had minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “The road had to be cleared as there was a lot of debris and there was some damage to the crash barrier.”
