Loomis security worker challenged by would-be robber in Guildhall Street in Folkestone

An investigation has been launched into an attempted robbery on a Loomis security van in Folkestone yesterday.
Police were called to Guildhall Street at just after 4.10pm.
A Loomis employee was returning to her van when she was approached by a man demanding she handed over the cash box she was carrying.
It is reported the suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
A Kent Police spokesman confirmed investigations are ongoing into the incident.
