Sex assault on woman of 91

POLICE have launched an investigation after a 91-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in an alleyway in Folkestone. The attacker came up behind her just off Plain Road and put his hand up her skirt as she was walking home with her shopping.
Despite being shocked and shaken, she managed to speak to the police and told them the man was 6ft tall and was wearing a bomber jacket and blue jeans. He ran off down the passage, across Bouverie Road West and into Godwyn Road.
Police need to speak to anyone who witnessed the attack last Thursday morning. Officers can be contacted at Folkestone police station on 01303 850055.
