Fire crews spent nearly an hour this morning fighting a blaze in Folkestone.
One engine was sent to Cambridge Gardens at 1.30am following a report that a shed used to store recycling bins was alight.
Crews used a hose reel to tackle the fire, but the shed was badly damaged by the flames and smoke.
Watch manager Vic Thorogood said: "We were called out at 1.30am to an address in Cambridge Gardens, Folkestone.
"An out-building used to store green wheelie bins was well alight. We were at the scene for around 45 minutes and extinguished the fire."
The cause of the fire is unexplained and will be investigated.
