Shepway aims for victory in return match

SHEPWAY hosts an international sports day on Sunday, with eight local teams taking on counterparts - and 2001 winners - from Folkestone's twin town, Boulogne.
Now in its fourth year, more than 400 competitors aged from 12 to 60 plus will take part.
Shepway teams include Folkestone Amateur Boxing club, Folkestone Junior Badminton Club, Folkestone Saints Basketball Club, Folkestone and District Table Tennis Club, Elham Valley Petanque Team, Hythe Tennis Club, Hythe Aqua and Folkestone Swimming Club, and a Shepway Council football team.
The event will conclude with a reception at The Pavilion, at the East Cliff, Folkestone when trophies will be presented by council leader, Cllr Rory Love.
