Shocking video footage shows the moment a man was hit over the head in a street attack.
The incident is reported to have happened in front of children in Bradstone Road, at the junction with Clarence Street in Folkestone on Saturday.
Police are hunting a suspect who reportedly slammed a blunt object into his victim’s head just before 5.30pm.
An eyewitness said one man was “pushed into the back of a car” and had a “wheel brace jammed in his eye”.
The victim is understood to have left the scene in the opposite direction of the suspect.
A dark-coloured Audi Q7 was seen in the area at the time and officers are working to identify those involved.
