Cash and shoes have been stolen from parked cars after a spate of thefts.
Thieves have targeted vehicles in a number of streets in Folkestone and police are urging people not to leave valuables in cars or vans overnight.
The first theft occurred in the early hours of Friday when a pair of shoes were stolen from a car in Coniston Road.
On Wednesday, cash was then stolen from two further vehicles – one in Alder Road and another in William Avenue.
Sgt Sarah Williams, of Folkestone's victim based crime team, said: "I urge vehicle owners to remove anything of value from their cars or vans overnight and leave nothing on show.
"Ensure all doors are locked and windows are fully closed.
"If possible park in a garage, a well-lit secure car park or an area covered by CCTV."
Anyone with information about the incidents is urged to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/41879/23 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or complete the form on its website.
