Drivers were warned to expect delays after a spillage of lard on the M20.
The slip road on the London-bound stretch of the motorway at J13 was closed since just after 1am today, but has now reopened.
Crews sanded the spill, and a road sweeper was brought in to clear up the mess.
Meanwhile, two lanes were closed on the A2 earlier after an accident.
Traffic was queueing on the London-bound carriageway of the A2 from Brewers Road at the junction for Cobham and Shorne, to the M2 J1/A289 at Strood.
All lanes have now reopened after the accident involving two cars.
