Rail engineers are hurriedly working to repair a train stalled in a tunnel.
It has stopped at Saltwood Tunnel near Folkestone, causing delays for other commuters.
Happening at about 2pm, the fault may be due to a problem further along the line.
British Transport Police tweeted: "A rescue train is on its way to do a side-to-side evacuation. We've also found a fault near Sandling that we think might be the cause of this train losing power and a team is on site now fixing it.
"Thank you to everyone on the train for their patience."
It is not known how long the disruption will continue.
