Arrest in connection with 'murdered' landlord Joe Daniels

A man arrested in connection with the alleged murder of popular pub landlord Joe Daniels has been released on bail.
Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate investigating the death of Mr Daniels in Folkestone arrested a 23-year-old from Canterbury on Wednesday.
He was questioned in connection with the incident, which happened inside the Red Cow Pub in Foord Road on November 22.
Officers were called to the scene that day where Mr Daniels, 58, was found unresponsive shortly before 11.30am.
He had suffered an injury consistent with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A firearm was also recovered.
The man arrested has been released on bail until Wednesday, February 28.
