Appeal after boy, 16, is slapped and has phone stolen in The Old High Street, Folkestone

A teenager was slapped around the face before having his mobile phone stolen.
The 16-year-old was threatened and assaulted in The Old High Street in Folkestone.
It is reported that he was approached by another teenage boy between 2.15pm and 4pm, who carried out the assault before stealing his phone.
It happened last Tuesday (July 23).
Police are appealing for information from anyone who might have witnesses the incident.
