Documentary about murder of teenager Jayden Parkinson who lived in Folkestone

The tragic story of a murdered teenager who grew up in Kent is being shown on TV tonight.

Jayden Parkinson disappered in 2013 shortly after announcing she was pregnant.

Her ex-boyfriend Ben Blakeley was later found guilty of the 17-year-old's murder.

When Missing Turns to Murder, on the Crime+Investigation channel, will centre around her violent and controlling relationship with her killer.

Blakeley, 22, strangled Jayden, who lived in Tennyson Place in Folkestone, before burying her in his uncle’s grave in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

She had last been seen at the town's railway station on December 3, 2013, and police spent weeks searching for her until officers discovered her body.

The programme will be broadcast at 9pm tonight on Sky channel 156.
