Teens arrested and bailed on suspicion of causing criminal damage in Folkestone

Two 16-year-old boys have been arrested and bailed on suspicion of causing criminal damage in Folkestone.

The police are investigating reports of damage to cars and a fence in Cherry Garden Lane on Sunday night (June 5).

They were arrested in Ashley Avenue in Cheriton during the early hours of Monday, June 6.

A police spokesman said: "The boys, who are both from the Folkestone area, were both arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage.

"They have been bailed until Wednesday, July 6 while inquiries continue."
