Folkestone: Stabbing in Sandgate Road leads to arrests of two teenagers in Radnor Park

Two teenagers remain in custody after being arrested in a park following a stabbing which left a man needing hospital treatment.
The boys, aged 16 and 17, were taken in for questioning by police after the incident in Folkestone yesterday afternoon.
The victim, a man aged in his 20s, and known to the alleged attackers, suffered an injury under his arm and was taken to hospital.
Both suspects, a 16-year-old from Folkestone and another, 17, from Rochester, are still being held by police after they were arrested in Radnor Park.
Police were called after the incident in Sandgate Road at around 3.30pm yesterday.
Officers searched the area following the alleged attack and arrested the pair in the park - near to Folkestone Central station and the town's Royal Victoria Hospital.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said paramedics were called to an incident outside a shop in Sandgate Road.
They added: "We responded to reports of an assault and one patient injured.
"We sent one ambulance car and one ambulance crew.
"He suffered a wound under his arm. He was treated at the scene and taken to the William Harvey Hospital [in Ashford].
"It doesn't suggest any life-threatening injuries. But the injury was serious enough to warrant hospital treatment."
