A motorist's dash-cam has captured the moment a car took a wrong turning onto a busy one way road.
The near-miss is said to have taken place this afternoon, at the busy Cherry Garden Avenue crossroads in Folkestone.
This driver is thought to have either turned right, too early, from Cheriton Road or carried on across the road from the Beachborough Road lights.
Cherry Garden Avenue is two way, but both parallel roads are separated by a large pathway which is used as a crossing for pedestrians.
The car narrowly avoided a crash as it veered onto the wrong side of the road, which has three lanes.
Graham Adams, who captured the "jaw dropping" moment, said the driver was lucky there was no traffic coming up the third lane.
