Arrests after thefts from cars near Folkestone

Three people have been arrested after a number of thefts from cars near Folkestone .
A number of handbags, purses and other valuables were taken during three separate incidents in Hawkinge and Densole.
Between September 1 and 2, a wallet, bank cards and earphones were stolen from a car in Pannel drive, while later on a purse and bank cards were taken from a separate vehicle in the same street.
A bag was then stolen from a car in St Johns Way, Densole, yesterday.
Two men and a woman have since been arrested in connection with the crimes.
The suspects, all in their 20s, are currently in police custody.
However, police believe that there may be more victims that have yet to inform police of thefts affecting them.
"There may be victims who have yet to come forward..."
Sgt Paula Cutter said: "We are keen to hear from anyone in Hawkinge and Densole that may have suffered a vehicle interference or theft and have not yet reported it.
"Our research into these incidents suggest there may be victims who have yet to come forward."
