Fire crews were called to a crash in Cheriton last night and cut two men free who were trapped in the wreckage of a car.

The incident happened at around 7.45pm in Cheriton Road involving two cars.

In total, two fire engines were called to the scene and two men had to be cut free from one of the cars using hydraulic rescue equipment before being treated by paramedics.
