Murder squad detectives continue to hunt Timothy Avril in connection with fatal stabbing of Gus Allman in Folkestone

Detectives investigating the murder of a 20-year-old in Folkestone are renewing an appeal for a man to come forward and help with inquiries.

Gus Allman died in hospital after being found with stab wounds in Wood Avenue in February.

Police want to speak to 22-year-old Timothy Avril, who is known to visit areas of south east London.

Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate today appealed for help in finding Mr Avril, who is described as 5ft 9ins, slim and with a London accent.

Police were called to the Dover Road area of Folkestone between 7pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday, February 19 after Mr Allman was found with stab wounds.

Mr Allman, from Sydenham, in south east London, was treated by ambulance staff in Wood Avenue and taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A 38-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman arrested in connection with his death have been bailed pending further inquiries.
