Police have arrested a man following an alleged assault in central Folkestone.
The 28-year-old from Dover was taken in for questioning after an appeal was issued by officers.
The attack is said to have happened at a home in The Old High Street, Folkestone, on Monday.
Police say they also want to trace another man who helped a woman who entered Gillespies pub near Folkestone Harbour at 6.50pm that evening with her two young children.
He called a taxi for her and gave £10 towards the fare.
Anyone with information is asked to call Det Sgt David Wilson on 101, quoting crime reference ZY/2758/16.
