Densole: Traffic at a standstill after a girl is 'hit by a car'

Traffic has now cleared, hours after it lined a main route between Folkestone and Canterbury this morning after a girl was run over.
The Canterbury Road A260 at Densole experienced high volumes of traffic near the Coach Road junction.
Police and ambulance crews were at the scene.
An 11-year-old girl sustained a leg injury.
The ambulance spokesman said she was fully conscious when paramedics arrived.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in Canterbury Road, Densole at 7.43am.
"Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene and the road was closed for a short time.
"The pedestrian was taken to hospital."
