Firefighters were called after a truck was engulfed in flames.
One engine attended the incident on Tram Road in Folkestone at 9:25pm yesterday, near the busy Folkestone Harbour.
Witnesses reported on social media hearing a loud bang as the blaze grew.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Spokesperson said: “Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
“There were no injuries reports and the cause is not yet known.”
The vehicle was reportedly a white pick-up truck.
Firefighters left the scene just before 10pm.
