Pair arrested after woman taken to hospital after attack in Beachborough Road, Folkestone

Two people have been arrested after an assault led to a woman being taken to hospital.

Police were called by an ambulance crew to reports of an attack at a property in Beachborough Road, Folkestone at 7.46am.

Officers attended and found the ambulance team treating the victim for injuries to her face.

She was then transported to a local hospital.

Two people, a 38-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were arrested a short time later in connection with the incident.

They remain in custody while inquiries continue.
