Two men arrested after women injured in disturbance at Augusta Gardens, Folkestone

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of assault and are being held in custody after a woman sustained injuries to her back and neck.
The arrests follow a disturbance in Augusta Gardens, Folkestone, reported early this morning when the air ambulance was called.
Police have been at the scene for most of the day and have now arrested a 22-year-old man from Folkestone and a 29-year-old man from Dover on suspicion of assault.
The woman was later transferred by land ambulance to the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.
A police spokesman said officers were called to a reported disturbance in Augusta Gardens, Folkestone, at 7.44am.
"It was reported that a woman had sustained injuries to her neck and back and SECAMB attended the scene before taking her to a local hospital by land ambulance.
"A 22-year-old man from Folkestone and a 29-year-old man Dover have been arrested on suspicion of assault.
"Both are currently in custody and inquiries are ongoing."
