Police are to investigate an act of arson after a BMW and Mercedes were found alight in Folkestone.
Firefighters were called to Park Farm Close at 9.35pm last night to find both cars, which were parked next to each other, alight.
They used compressed air foam to extinguish the fires, managing to contain them both to the passenger compartments.
Watch manager Giles Parker said: “The cars were well alight when we arrived.
“We’re treating it as deliberate ignition and have passed it on to the police.”
The cars were described as a dark grey BMW convertible and a silver Mercedes-Benz A-Class.
Crews left the scene after an hour.
Police are yet to comment.
