A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "The ambulance service assisted one person still in the car.
"We sent two appliances, one has been released from the scene and the other is standing by in case they are needed.
"It doesn't look like they are going to need to cut open any of the vehicles."
A police spokesman said: "Minor injuries have been reported and the road has been closed at the corner of Blackbull Road while emergency services work and the vehicles are recovered."
It is understood the road is now clear.
In an unrelated incident, the police were called to Canterbury Road in Hawkinge at 1.18pm today.
No injuries have been reported.
