Folkestone's Creative Quarter welcomes new coffee shop, alehouse, vintage clothes store and fundraising shop this month
09:05, 08 October 2013
A shopping street in Folkestone is welcoming four new businesses this month.
The Creative Quarter will see the doors open in a new coffee shop, alehouse, vintage clothes store and fundraising shop for the Folkestone Air Show.
All found on the Old High Street, Manifest will serve tea, cakes, sandwiches and magazines.
Up the road, Kipps’ Alehouse will serve cask ales and also specialise in Belgian Lagers.
Mens and womens vintage clothes outlet Skylark has moved from Sandgate to the Old High Street.
Open Air Promotions will act as an information centre for the 2014 Folkestone Air Show.
It is hoped that raising money for the event in the store will help avoid another cancellation, after this year’s show failed to materialise.
