11:20, 05 December 2017

Police are hunting the driver of a white transit-style van in connection with the suspected murder of a popular pub landlord.

The vehicle was seen parked outside the Red Cow pub in Foord Road, Folkestone, where Joe Daniels, 58 was shot dead on the morning of November 22.

Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Richard Vickery said: "There is no suggestion the driver of the van has done anything wrong but the van was parked there just before the incident happened and we are hopeful he may have seen or heard something that could aid our investigation.
