Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcycle smashed into a tree.

The accident involving the red Kawasaki was on the A260 Canterbury Road, Denton, close to Agester Lane.

Police were called to the incident at 6.15am on Thursday, March 24.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with arm and leg injuries but has since been discharged.
