A woman has been charged with two counts of theft after money went missing from a hospital.
Police were called to the William Harvey Hospital, in Ashford, last week following a report cash and a handbag had been taken in two separate incidents.
Officers arrested and charged Eileen Doherty, 30, of Page Road, Hawkinge, with two counts of theft.
Doherty has also been charged with shoplifting in connection with an incident in January this year at Debenhams, in Sandgate Road, Folkestone.
It was reported four boxes of perfume and three pairs of shoes were taken from the store.
Doherty has been bailed and will appear at Canterbury Magistrates’ Court on Friday, September 12.
