Being on strike didn't stop firefighters rescuing a woman who became trapped in her car following a crash near Folkestone.
Crews used specialist cutting tools to get the 25-year-old out of the vehicle after a two-car collision at the Cheriton Interchange on the A20 at 3.30pm.
She was taken to the William Harvey Hospital with back pain.
Members of the Fire Brigades Union (FBU) went out on strike between 10am and 5pm today as part of an ongoing protest over new pension proposals.
