Fire and ambulance crews were called to a flat in Folkestone after a fire broke out from an electric heater last night.
The crews received the call to go to Clifton Crescent shortly after 9pm and treated a woman inside for breathing difficulties.
She was given oxygen and treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation, while firefighters dowsed the flames.
The fire is believed to have started from an electrical fault with the heater and led to the flat being filled with smoke. Firefighters warned people to check electrics before using heaters.
