Police appeal after woman woken by burglar with torch in The Riviera, Sandgate

A woman who was asleep in her bed was woken up by a burglar who was shining a torch into her bedroom.
When she called out, the person left the home, in Folkestone.
During the break-in, cash was stolen and two windows were damaged.
The burglary happened just after midnight on Sunday, October 9 in The Riviera, Sandgate.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following the incident or for anyone who has private CCTV or dashcam footage in the area to come forward.
