Hundreds of zombies invade Folkestone for the annual Folkestone Zombie Walk

10:00, 01 November 2015

Folkestone looked absolutely disgusting yesterday as zombies invaded the town centre.

Hundreds of residents took to the streets for the annual Folkestone Zombie Walk parade - which for the first time in its five years so far actually fell on Halloween.

The walk raises money for the East Kent Hospitals Charity and scores of people lined the route.

There were some truly brilliant yet hideous costumes as they made their way through the town centre.

The zombie hoard left the Leas Cliff Hall before dragging their lifeless limbs through Sandgate Road and ending up at the bottom of the Old High Street.

The event is organised by Planet Folkestone and was also attended by the mayor, Cllr Emily Arnold - who stuck with her mayoral chain as her costume.

There will be loads more pictures in this week's Folkestone & Hythe Express - out on Wednesday so see if you can spot yourself!
