Ian Draycott has signed a new contract at Folkestone Invicta.
The striker has bagged an incredible 42 goals this season, firing Invicta into the Ryman League Division 1 South play-offs following his move from Leatherhead last summer.
Draycott's goal against champions Burgess Hill on Saturday earned Folkestone the runners-up spot and a home semi-final against Whyteleafe tomorrow night (Tuesday).
He's now aiming for a third play-off winners medal in as many years, having gone up with Maidstone in 2013 and Leatherhead in 2014 - when Folkestone lost in the final.
Draycott's commitment to the club comes as a huge boost to Invicta boss Neil Cugley.
He said: "The number of goals he has scored speaks for itself but he is such a fantastic team player too – and you don’t always get that with players.
"He’s such a nice lad as well and a genuine pleasure to work with.
"Everybody knows it's not about the money for Draycs. It's about where the club's going.
"He must be enjoying it here otherwise he wouldn't stay."
Tuesday's play-off semi-final at the Fullicks Stadium kicks off at 7.45pm.
